Axe & Knife Maintenance
Mineral Oil - 1 Pt.
This is the oil to use for wiping down high-carbon blades. It is food safe , basically smell-less, and won't go bad like some other oils will. A pint will last you a long time. We like to keep a microfiber cloth with some of this already on it in a small ziploc bag to use whenever we're handling knives.
Microfiber Cloth - 14"x14" -each
We like to use one of these cloths to wipe down our knives after use or handling. They're great at picking up residual oils and dust.
Axe Puck Sharpener - Lansky
3" diameter dual grit carbide sharpening stone measures 1" thick. Ideal for lawn mower blades, machetes, garden tools, etc.
Coarse side is approximately 120 grit
Fine side is approximately 280 grit
Flitz Metal Polish Paste - 1.76 oz.
This is what we use to restore a satin finish on our knives if we ever get a little careless and let them sit for too long. It works perfectly with one of our microfiber cloths.
